I soo wish scruffs would listen to the 'high rise' 'Victorian cut' issue & bring us belly wielding workforce a 'low rise' alternative....at last
Been using 35" waist holster pocket trousers from the company whose name rhymes with...knickers...but Scruffs don't do a 35" size, so opted for the 36" regular.
For me, they are sooooo generous around your backside/hips they just 'feel' huge and loose.
The kneepad pockets aren't quite in the right position (too low by an inch or two) even with the pad in the higher placement pouch.
They lack a button for attaching a knife holder, which for me is a big drawback as...knickers...holster pocket trousers have that feature, which I use daily.
The additional places for tools (screwdrivers mainly) on the outside of the holster pockets is useful, one of the reasons I opted for Scruffs having got fed up of the zips failing on the...knickers...holster pocket trousers I've been using for 15years or more.
Maybe I should wave tried the ones from...TheWalt...but instead I decided to spare no expense and have opted to try some from...BlackLadder...we'll call them. Yes they're expensive, but as soon as you put them on you know it's money well spent, two buttons for a knife holder, all the pockets I need, plus more, and they have the extra loops for screwdrivers etc. on the outside of the holster pockets.
Will take a bit of getting used to the new phone pocket location, but the 36" regular fit beautifully and are absolutely quality.
