Cotton that pulls its weight
We started with the Eco Worker range, and most of our kit now uses
sustainably sourced cotton — grown with less water, fewer chemicals, and fairer conditions for farmers. Good for the land. Fair for those who grow it.
Recycled materials. Same strength, less impact.
Our apparel uses recycled polyester and nylon — turning plastic waste into
durable fabrics, cutting the need for new raw materials, and using less energy than making fabric from scratch.
Packaging
We know how frustrating unnecessary packaging can be, especially when it can't be re-used. That's why we've changed the way we do things.
We've scrapped single use plastic hangers and introduced recycled jangers which use 60% less plastic and are far more efficient to produce, saving energy too! Plus, our poly bags and shoe boxes are now 100% recycled and recyclable.

All our footwear leather comes from top-rated tanneries — using less
energy, producing less waste, and reducing environmental impact without compromising toughness.

Tested where it counts
We don’t do fast fashion. We make long-lasting kit that stays in the job
longer — cutting waste and saving you money. We remain committed to our wear trials and are proud to put tradies at the core of everything we do. This means you can be confident in Scruffs products working as hard as you do. Longer lasting products are far better for the environment and enable us to further reduce our environmental impact.

We get it - we still have a long way to go, but we're committed to making changes in the way we do things to ensure all Scruffs products are as sustainable as possible whilst ensuring we don't compromise on durability, comfort or performance. Keep an eye out for more changes coming soon too, like switching our entire trouser range to include recycled polyester or nylon, and the introduction of footwear made from recycled materials!
